It'll increase your health, making you survive longer. Vitality is your dump stat, easily the most important part of building your Summonmancer. This'll allow your Summonmancer to use heavier armor and weapons, necessary for surviving up-close encounters whenever your ball of writhing monsters, undead and golems aren't keeping enemies occupied. Since you'll only be putting a few points into Energy and you'll be avoiding Dexterity (unless you opt for enough to use max block in conjunction with Homonculus), you can put a lot of points into Strength. On top of that, since the Necromancer gains two points of Mana per level put into Energy, you only really need a few level-ups in Energy to get everything you'll need to maintain an army of undead. With that said, if you're a newer player and you're worried about not having enough Mana potions, a few level-ups put into Energy to increase your Mana won't hurt. EnergyĮnergy isn't the most important stat for your Necromancer, especially the Summonmancer build. Those are Energy, Strength, Vitality, Faster Cast Rate, and Faster Hit Recovery. There's a few key things for you to focus on as a Necromancer, especially when going for the Summonmancer build. Therefore, I would recommend using shadowblight with the shadow mages if you’re going shadow+minion.Source: Windows Central (Image credit: Source: Windows Central)ĭon't get overwhelmed with all the different stats you'll see when starting out in Diablo 2: Resurrected. And the last update fixed the bug that prevented your shadow mages triggering the shadowblight key passive. It’s too much trouble running around trying not to get hit to keep up the buff too. So I stopped using Kalan’s and changed to Rathma and, honestly, didn’t feel the difference.

Saw some YouTuber that did some testing (something bear, don’t remember his name…) saying that minion attack speed seems to peak at only 30%. (Not adding to the aspect that also increases their attack speed) I’m using a shield that gives 20% minion attack speed, plus that skill that gives 12% attack speed, plus 10% attack speed from paragon and another 30% from Kalan’s should almost double my minions attack speed, but the truth is that it seems that those numbers don’t add up to 72% as they were still attacking at seemly the same speed whether I had Kalan active or not.

Recently I changed from Kalan’s to Rathma to increase the damage of my blood surge and honestly couldn’t see the difference in the attack speed of my minions.

I was using Kalan’s with a pure minion build (all skills points and paragon points into minions).
